Music from Manteo to Duck

Performing Arts at RIFPTuesday and Friday, July 8 and 11, the NCSA Saxophone Quartet will mix French and American standards with classical and ragtime arrangements in the Film Theater at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo at 2 p.m. Call (252) 475-1506.

Meanwhile, in Duck, the Summer Music Series (PDF) happens from 6-7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays on the Town Green, with Wednesday concerts added on July 16 and August 13.

On Wednesday, July 16th, The Wells Family Band will bring its blend of acoustic pop, bluegrass, and country to the Duck Park stage and on Wednesday, August 13th, The Fuzz Band of Hampton Roads will be back in Duck after their 2007 Jazz Festival appearance entertaining the crowds with a fusion of funk, jazz, and pop.
